ABOUT ICKLESHAM MEMORIAL HALL

The Icklesham Village Hall was opened in 1960 and was formally named the Icklesham Memorial Hall in memory of the servicemen of the village who died in the First and Second World Wars. The hall is the vibrant heart of the village and is run by the Icklesham Trusts Committee, a team of local people who welcome visitors to come and use this community asset. The Committee is made up of officers, village reps and representatives of the various clubs and societies that use the hall or pavilion regularly. Trust members are voted in annually at the AGM and anyone is welcome to attend. The hall is available for hire for private parties and single events as well as for regular users. We host a monthly craft fair and a local produce market. There is also a charming Pavilion where sports groups can change and organise refreshments. The Pavilion has been refurbished in 2024 and now has excellent changing and showering facilities as well as a new cosy social space suitable for small groups to meet.
