Welcome to Icklesham Memorial Hall and Pavilion We are a village hall with a separate sports pavilion for hire in the heart of East Sussex, between the towns of Hastings and Rye. The village itself is in a beautiful setting, with views down to the sea to the south and across the Brede valley to the north.
The iconic Hogg Hill windmill looks down over this vibrant village, surrounded by fields, woods and vineyards. Join in one of our friendly classes or activities here, or start your own! If you are looking for a great venue for your class, group, or event, contact our helpful committee by phone or email.
Our village hall is just off the main road through the village, and is close to the cricket and football grounds, recreation field and playground, the church of All Saints and St Nicolas and the Queen's Head pub.
It has an ample car parking for at least 20 vehicles, and includes a stage with lighting and a sound system, and a well-sized kitchen with a double oven, hob, sink, and preparation area. Free wifi available. It has capacity of 100, enabling Icklesham Memorial Hall to be suitable for craft fairs, wedding receptions, parties, and regular weekly classes.
The pavilion is available to hire separately and has well-equipped changing rooms and showers as well as a comfortable social room suitable for sport groups or small group events.
The hall is managed by the Icklesham Trust, a charity run by a committee of local volunteers whose aim is to make sure that the village hall promotes and hosts local events and activities for Icklesham and the surrounding area.
The hall is available for single private functions and hosts regular clubs and activities. You can book an event by calling or emailing us directly, or by using our handy booking system. We will get back in touch to confirm your booking.
If you are looking for a venue to host your group meetings, you can contact our committee by email or phone, or fill in our booking form. We shall be back in contact quickly.
